Co-habit (2021)

The ‘anthropause’ imposed by Covid-19 offered the possibility of a reconsideration of relations between human and non-human worlds in which we could assume a less dominating role. In the hasty return to our anthropocentric lives, Co-habit is a reminder of that possibility.

Created for Burrinja’s Holding Pattern in 2021, and officially selected for International Ecoperformance Festival, Sao Paulo, Brazil, 2022.

Concept and performance: Gretel Taylor
Video and sound: Laki Sideris

Locations: Kalorama, Olinda and Balnarring, Victoria, Australia (Wurundjeri and Bunurong/Boon wurrung Country).
